The Nevadian Independent reports that in that state alone, hundreds are changing their party affiliation prior to primary season.

The Biden Administration announced on April 1 that a COVID-era policy that sent at least fifty percent of undocumented immigrants back to their home country would cease by May 23rd. This policy, known as Title 42, was put into place by the Trump Administration at the height of the pandemic. With numbers tumbling, the White House said the policy should come to an end.

On Monday, a federal judge in a Florida court voided the Biden Administration's mask mandate for those traveling on planes and trains. The mask mandate was originally a dictum handed out by the Centers for Disease Control, and it has been extended a number of times. Most recently, it was extended until May 3, but the judge's order voided the directive.

Late last week, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi tested positive as well. While their exact variant has not been made public, their diagnoses bring attention to the latest variant - a mutation of the Omicron variant called BA.2.
