Pennsylvania held its primary on May 17, and certain contests were highly watched. One in particular is the Republican Senate primary with Dr. Mehmet Oz and David McCormick. Over a week after the primary, no clear winner has been declared. The margin of votes between the two candidates is only 902 with Dr. Oz in the lead. Pennsylvania law requires that an election go through a recount process "when candidates are within half a percentage point of each other."
Primary season is gearing up, and Tuesday's primaries in four states are proving as pivotal as national elections. Once again, candidates endorsed by Donald Trump are in hot races with others in the primary. Once again, America waits to see if those Trump endorsements continue to pay off.
The Republican National Committee, headed by Ronna McDaniel, sent a letter to the Commission on Presidential Debates stating that moving forward, the RNC will not allow its presidential candidates to participate in debates run by the CPD.
